Cheap stickers...Dec 18, 2011

I ordered this for my father in law for Christmas. He is a huge sports fan, and has his basement turned into a Chicago Team themed rec room. I thought the rack would be perfect for this. When it arrived, I was very disappointed to find that the logos are just stickers slapped onto a regular plastic rack. Maybe I should have guessed that would be the case, but from the pictures I really thought this would be better quality. Additionally, the stickers were half peeled off, and so old/damaged that I couldn't smooth them back onto the plastic.
The only good thing is the service I received from Amazon. Whether its because I shop a lot here, or because I have the Amazon Visa card, I was not required to send the item back to receive my refund. So no money out of my pocket for return shipping. But you can't count on that happening for everyone. I would save your money, or find an actual store to buy this from, so you see what it looks like before you buy.
Side note: My husband thinks that Amazon has probably received enough complaints about this that they no longer have to see the item to know it is defective. I prefer to think that they just really like me :)
